Praia book launch at ANCV, the Cabo Verde National Archives

On May 26, 2023, the Cabo Verde National Archives (Arquivo Nacional de Cabo Verde) hosted a book launch for Os Judeus Marroquinos de Cabo Verde: Século XIX (The Moroccan Jews of Cabo Verde: 19th Century) in Praia. Like in Lisbon, the event was well attended by many descendants, educators, dignitaries and the general public. A big thanks to José Silva Evora, ANCV Director of Research, who organized the event and reception. We are also grateful to Sofia de Oliveira Lima who delivered a book review and introduced Carol Castiel’s presentation.
